The app delivers Capital Metro s bus routes, schedules and maps to the palm of your hand. When the trains start moving, you ll get those too! Ride Austin also helps you find the stop closest to your location. Then you can access map and street information or go straight to Google Maps for walking and riding directions for getting to transit points from wherever you are. When looking at the nearest stops, you can immediately see all routes that serve each. Then you can plan ahead for transfers and view the stops on the trip you ve chosen that connect to additional bus routes. And, of course, you can use the app to simply see Metro basics. Ride Austin provides comprehensive route information that includes stop listings as well as maps and schedules. In addition, the app links to the current detours, trip planner, and the system schedule and map information at capmetro.org. It can be easy being green! All components compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch. Schedules and maps require Internet connection.
